In 1985, I began designing women' fashions in San Francisco, California...to express my point-of-view and my sense of style. Despite a rough and bumpy start, the joy of being able to externalize what was in my heart...gave me the impetus to persevere and continue the journey. I introduced myself and my initial collection to choice merchants in New York City, who smiled and welcomed my label, ARISTEO San Francisco, into their fine stores...and to fashion editors, who smiled and shared my story and my designs to their readers. Little do I know, this would be the beginning of my life... and my love...of fashion...and the world it revolves in.

In the spring of 2002, I met a wonderful person, who founded a New York modeling agency. This encounter led to my decision to become involved with the modeling industry. Five years quickly came and went. I learned much about the comings-and-goings of the modeling agency business both here and abroad.

In the spring of 2007, I started my own boutique agency... the EMMANUEL New York Models.  After 22 years being deeply engaged in American fashion and the apparel manufacturing industry globally...as a fashion designer...and as a model agent/manager...I realized that my heart desires to share my time, plus the wisdom and experience, which I've gained all these many years...  to serve and help young women, and a few good men...who want to pursue a professional career as a fashion model...or as a creative  artist...here in New York...and places like Paris, Milan, London, Tokyo, to name a few.

My Agency's business plan is simple.  I will introduce and offer the professional services of my choice fashion models and creative artists to my personal and professional acquaintances in the fashion industry.  Together, we will figure out how to best serve you.  The garment hang tags of my very first “ARISTEO San Francisco” designs read, "If it makes you smile, I've done my job!"

My story... and the song of my heart have not changed.
